deburan ombak terseret angin
ke tengah samudera itu
sedang di bibir pantai
orang saja menari-nari

Laut mengundang sehamparan gunung samudera
datanglah dari penjuru segala
melihat kami menari
menjelang akhir sodorkan air
ketika tubuh bermandi peluh
tapi jangan suguhkan seudati*)
sebab ia sudah mati

Datang,
datanglah dari penjuru segala
ramaikan laut kami yang sepi
dengan lagumu yang sarat cinta
