It has been a while I posted on my blog, but I come occasionally to check out what’s new. This very post, I intend to write it for those that are into relationships (basically those that are ready to get married).

We are still in the month of February, the month of love. We just celebrated valentine’s day not long ago in fact not up to a week, it is normal to be in the feeling all cozy.

Marriage is not all about love, it is about commitment and responsibilities. The sweet love sensation fades away 2-3 years into marriage, and it takes mutual understanding and commitment to work things out.

This means one must be very realistic when it comes to choosing whom to marry, every tiny detail deserves to be weighed and processed.

Marriage is like a cell, the best way of surviving and thriving is to choose the right cellmate (marriage partner)

So this means one has to be intentional in picking whom to marry, this post is to highlight 5 things that people should not marry out of;

=> Sympathy: the dictionary defines this as an inclination to be loyal/ agree with an opinion or a relation or harmony between people; where one party is affected. Do not marry because you feel this, it is a scam. Reality would set in after a while.

=> Coercion: this simply means using of force to cause something to occur, do not let anyone do that to you. For the sake of a happy home and also your emotional and mental health, do not be coerced into marriage.

=> Ignorance: make sure you do not lack knowledge of what marriage means or what it entails, also know the stuff your partner is made of before diving into it. Stay informed!

=> Depression: according to oxford dictionary, depression is defined as a mental state characterized by a pessimistic sense of inadequacy and a despondent lack of activity. Do not let anyone take advantage of you by entering marriage simply because of your state, get help from professionals and beat it. Make sure you are in the right frame of mind before committing yourself.

=> Prophecy: this is for the religious folks, they need not marry simply because of prophecy; a form of prediction uttered under divine inspiration. Make sure your spirit is at peace before you indulge yourself in it, do not get scammed for it is just a prediction.

You deserve a happy home once you are ready, and your spirit and should be at peace with whoever you are choosing to settle down with.
