I never got a vote or shit from DTube. If people don't like DTube's votes why don't they get whales to power up millions of steem? :D You don't need DTube to earn money on DTube? In fact you could in theory fork our code and simply change the % to 0. Lol. Upload and host your videos yourself, power up 2 million sp. You are now decentralizing that process yourself. YouTube is garbage, full of censorship. Ask @styxhexenhammer why he is banned in some European countries. And used to be banned in Germany on YouTube? Google hates the truth. is why.
Steemit hates the truth too. You can be attacked and banned from Steemit easier than Google. I've seen it happen. One person with power here can cripple a account. At least in Google land it's one corporation not a bunch of random dudes who could be bat shit crazy. Dtube is full of garbage, there is a reason the world watches You Tube not Dtube vlogs. I love Steemit but I'm not going to roll over and say everything is puppies and rainbows bro.
I had a friend who posted 9 times in one day - legit but small posts like with Twitter - and was blacklisted and now every post she does, it gets downvoted. She left Steem and will never come back! Bummer because they were all legit postings...to me that is a form of censorship!
Having someone dislike your post isn't censorship. It's called reality. Your post is still in the blocks. How was it censored/deleted? I flagged myself. Does that mean im censored? LMfao.
If you've got power you can end a account. Bernie does it daily and is doing it to @valorforfreedom right now
How can you end an account though? He can still post just fine. He can't use our bots though he is banned. He can still post on dtube and earn money from direct donations. Or through his own website. or patreon. or whatever.. Oh wait. Patreon doesn't like racists/neonazi , He can only make money here if more neo nazi's join. That isn't ending an account. Everyone has a voice here even the worst voices.
One with power can end the effective use of an account by maintaining a bot that downvotes all posts from that account. The user has to create a new account to have posts that appear to the community again and discontinue using the account that has posts that no longer appear to the community. In my opinion this has the same ultimate effect, even though on a decentralized platform, as YouTube banning an account.
100% agree @senuentialvibe, I'm not sure how anyone could feel different.
This isn't the same....the entire account and not just a post was blacklisted and the user can no longer post. Sounds like Dtube censorship to me!
@sequentialvibe You can't blacklist an account from the steemblockchain. Do you know we offer uploader services? D.Tube has no control who we allow or disallow. Neither does steemit.com https://uploader.oneloved.tube/ . This is not censorship. You know how to click and login through steemconnect on a website? You can upload a video. That easy.
Trust me I know how blockchain tech works especially Steem.
My point is simply that a bot can have you on their blacklist and downvote everything that is posted. That is all I am saying and is the effective status of her account.

Yeah you get downvotes on YouTube videos too. Isn't that life? does it ruin effective status OR does it hurt your feelings? I think the later is the case. Imagine if a comedian allowed hecklers to control their act, and not even that make them quit comedy. We would have no comedy? Lol.
Dtube doesn't use the power to censor accounts, they do have a WAY limited voting support tho. You can have your payouts and post slaughtered by someone with power. There is no way to argue against that point.
Oh so you were getting free money? And they quit giving you free money? and that is a bad thing? I look at it like they gave you free money. I never got votes from DTUBE on any post.
