Yes! It is released on Google PlayStore, if v1.4.2 is not available yet, it might take couple hours, depending on how fast Google will reindex it to your country.

I am working on eSteem desktop app which is completely new design and user experience (no eta at this point, but shouldn't take long). I wanted to take time to build it right and have easier entry point for any user... Next week will share some screenshots and sneak preview of the new desktop app. Stay tuned 😉

Great, this version has good transitions compare to previous version (while opening and closing post). Gonna check other features soon.
Meanwhile, Can you check Steemion please? Its also great and specialy I loved the UI of it. If you can take some things from it that would be awesome.
For features no doubt esteem >> Steemion but for ui Steemion >> eSteem :wink:

I have checked that app in early days, what part of UI you would like to see improved on eSteem?
I am thinking to apply some material design elements and slowly transition to material design and effects.
For weird reason, Steemion is not loading any content today. So I will put what I can remember.
Yep, material design.
It shows type of fish based on user's steem power. For example, for me it shows 'salmon', for you it shows 'shark' with little fish icon by side.
Imo Steemion's color combination is more eye catching. (you can check on google play link below).
On right sidebar (or whatever it's called) it shows popular topics / tags based on steem power . I think this would help users to decide tags for their stories and they would be easily able to navigate through topics interested.

English is bit weak, hope you got the point.
I like color of our SteemFest app which is similar to what Steemion uses. I was thinking about coloring aspect a lot lately which is one of the first requirements or catchy part of material design. Right now eSteem has tag search, but was thinking to have list of tags by default. Will add it to github so I can track this. Thanks for input and suggestions ;)
