General Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto said no country in the world is willing to open the door for foreign workers (TKA).

On the contrary, said Prabowo, even happened in Indonesia because of the unfilled labor of unfilled labor.
"There is no people in the world who want to open the door for foreigners like us," he said.
Prabowo cited the policy of US President Donald Trump who wanted to build a wall on the border with Mexico.
In addition Prabowo exemplifies Malaysia whipping Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) who enter illegally.
"The United States alone wants to make a wall to dispel, in Australia people want to go discharged to remote islands, in Malaysia, our illegal labor is whipped up," he said.
Prabowo stressed that he is not antiasing. However, he asked the state to think of jobs for its citizens. The government must take care of its citizens.
"Not us antiasing, but keep our people first, if we open the door for foreign workers, what we do?" Prabowo said.
The issue of foreign workers came back to the fore after President Joko Widodo signed Presidential Regulation No. 20 of 2018 on the Use of Foreign Workers in March.
One of the points in the Presidential Regulation does not require the employer to have a Foreign Workforce Use Plan (RPTKA) from the relevant ministries and technical institutions.
Article 10 states that employers are not obliged to provide RPTKA for foreigners holding shares and serving as members of directors, diplomatic officers, and other types of work that the government still needs.
Chief of Staff of the President (KSP), Moeldoko repeatedly declared the issuance of Presidential Decree Number 20 of 2018 aimed at protecting the national workforce and providing a balanced portion for the needs of foreign investment in Indonesia.
"The public should fully understand the Presidential Regulation, not to be confused, but to protect our workforce," Moeldoko said in a press release.
While Minister of Employment Hanif Dhakiri said the number of foreign workers in Indonesia is still quite proportional after the issuance of Perpres TKA. He also asked all parties do not worry about it.
Hanif considered that the number of foreign workers in Indonesia is relatively low, about 85,947 workers, until the end of 2017. In 2015 the number 77,149 TKA, and 2016 reached 80,375 TKA.
