The lai fruit (Durio kutejensis Becc.) Is one of the fruits that are closely related to the durian fruit. Names or lay are the typical names given by the indigenous people of East Kalimantan.
In other areas the name is also different, in Central Kalimantan called Pampaken or Pampakin, in Brunei it is called durian bulu, while in Sarawak it is called Nyekak.
