US Congress Representatives are now forced to list all crypto holdings over $1,000.

This is part of a law that requests full disclosure and they are not suppose to profit from congressional work/activity.

We all know they certainly do break this law and in fact it is entirely legal for insider trading to occur — google away.

My question is ...if cryptos were “unimportant”, this law would not have been created.

So this means cryptos are “on the agenda” ....interesting.

Just another positve signal to me :-)

What i hate about laws like this is that the bar is automatically moved.
In... probably about three years, i will have to report my ONE digibyte.

They use this in taxes too.
If you make less than $500 you owe no taxes and are not required to file a tax return. But, when they made that statute, $500 was a living wage.

True — with cryptos I imagine at some point they will be tracking all or as much as they can for tax purposes.
