Florida to create a position — “Cryptocurrency Chief” —- now we are talking — should I apply :-)

Florida is creating a position to help seniors be aware of fraud and other misdoings in the crypto industry.
You can imagine the angst of senior citizens and older people IF they had to deal with cryptos in a hurried way.

I can see people being taken advantage of I am glad that are trying to look out business’s and the people of Florida.

Why would they create a position like this if Bitcoin is dead? (Reason # 999 why cryptos are here to stay)

I never believed much in these “chief and czar” positions. Remember when they created the Terrorism Czar, did that reduce terrorism?

I would be perfect for that position...what would I do? Hmmmm

Seriously, older people trust their banks and their financial advisors in today’s world.
There needs to be education for both of these groups first. Banks are fighting cryptos and the financial advisors are just as unaware at this point.
I would see the Merril Lynch and other Discount Brokers pushing the latest Crypto Index Fund or Mutual Fund.
I don’t see anyone helping seniors with crypto wallets, storage and passwords —— this is an issue with early crypto usage.

We have to remember this is all new. How many people were using the internet back in 1992?
All this will take time to evolve and put structure for adoption in place by the masses.

In the meantime, hodl away. You can see the writing on the wall. — if not — time to get some glasses :-)
