Ferry! A fiction
Dear friends
I am pleased to participate in the @mariannewest´s daily challenge, Friday´s prompt: ferry. Continuing with Mary´s adventures. At the end of the week, she accompanies her coworkers to a nearby island. Here is the story, I hope you like it.
The daily activity in Mary's office is intense, since she has to deal with important clients and late payment cases, which leads her to devote a lot of time to resolve these administrative matters.
Already being the weekend, in the office her coworkers organized an excursion to an island which is reached by ferry. Being an adventurous person, she joined the group, the excursion would take place on Saturday morning, returning Sunday. She just had to take the foresight to leave her dachshund in the care of her neighbor.
So with everything planned she could travel without problems, take a well-deserved rest and thus de-stress to assume in good form the following work week.
