grasshopper (Valanga nigricornis)

Grasshopper is a herbivorous insect of the suborder of Caelifera in Orthoptera order. This insect has an antenna that is almost always shorter than its body and also has a short ovipositor. The sound generated by some grasshopper species is usually produced by rubbing the rear femur against the front wing or the abdomen, or by flapping its wings while flying. grasshoppers can also be eaten because they contain lots of protein and it feels so tasty and delicious.

grasshoppers are very often found in the grass area and usually they live in groups but there are also solitary, grasshoppers eat young leaves and even some farmers consider grasshoppers as a pest that invites vegetable crops even in large quantities grasshoppers can devour all vegetable leaves in a short time. This locust is also hunted by the community as bird food and most easily found on the leaf taro because the locust also likes to live in a rather humid area.

These are the various foses that I captured because the grasshoppers managed to catch me to take the picture and most importantly the grasshopper was not hurt by me let alone threatening his life. after the shooting process is completed then the locust I release it back to its habitat.

the image below is the bottom of the grasshopper's body, at first glance we see the shape of the lower body is somewhat frightening because his mouth almost resembles a monster but this is a small grasshopper I took pictures with camera xiaomi redmi 3 and additional macro lenses so can be seen more clearly due to additional lens macro.
