Statue of Károlyi Gáspár (1529 - 1591) who was a well known Hungarian Calvinist pastor.

In 1586 Károlyi Gáspár translated the Bible to Hungarian.

You can see the bible in his hand. The stature is situated at the entrance of the reformed christian church of Marosvásárhely, Targu Mureș.
