Problem with eSteem or with keys?
Hello guys! I need some help with eSteem.
Finally I bought a new phone, and I've got the opportunity not to part with my favorite Steemit when I'm not at home. But my joy is slightly marred by minor technical problems.
I installed eSteem, developed by @goodkarma, but I have a question, which key should I use?
I entered the private owner key, which begins with STM5..., and this is the main key isn't it?
But it didn't gives me full access to the account. I'm kind of in the account, I can see my stats, a list of my posts and responses. But when I try to do upvote, climbs the following message:
When I try to leave a comment to the post, the following message appears (very long massage, I kept it completely in the hope that this will help to determine and solve the problem. Passwords are overwritten, I hope no other secret information is not here):
There is also a problem with a wallet I can't redeem reward.
Can someone explain to me what the problem is: it's the wrong password or glitches of eSteem?
The app was overloaded, account went - it didn't help. By the way, the entrance with the QR-code not working too.
Which of the four passwords is the main, which one will I need if I switch to another browser/another computer?

You can use your login and main password start with P5xxxxx...
or you can try your private posting and active key which you can find from your wallet start with 5xxxx..... the one you mentioned is public key STM5xxx not private one.

Once you logged in claiming reward should work. Main password is the you got when you first registered, all other private keys are in your wallet -> permission page on Steemit where you can type it in your QR reading. Camera permission is necessary for QR scanning to work properly. Hope it helps, let me know!

Big thanks, I was able to login eSteem using two QR-codes, but had to first make "show private key" (not public, as I tried earlier). Why do we need so much keys and passwords, it is easy to get confused among them?
Now I do have only one concern, how to get out of the Opera's store my main password...
Yeah those keys for advanced usage, but you would need only one main password if you had that. I don't use Opera browser myself, but if you have saved password there, you can check Settings - privacy & security - manage saved passwords
I think you should've login'ed with username and password.
password is one of the 4 keys? or there is 5th key(password), which is the main?
The fact is that I configured the autocomplete of saved passwords in the browser on my computer, and I don't see what password I enter on Steemit to login.
You meant to say you don't know your steemit password?
Yep. The password is in the browser, I see it only in the form of stars, I saved it at the moment of registration and never seen after that time. Honestly speaking, all this time I thought that owner key is my master password...
There Is an option to recover password on steemit website, I hope it will work.
Hang in there. I have had to delete and reload it a few times. They will respond to you for help, at least they did when I gave them 3 stars and listed my concerns on the Android shop.
