the green color on the back is like a bag.

Hi lovers of steemit all over the world, meet again on this beautiful Saturday or weekend with me, well for this time beetle is still my favorite theme, but for this time I will review a little about the stages of metamorphosis process of beetle life.

Beetles undergo perfect metamorphosis. Which means, in developing them through 4 different process stages. The process is egg, larva, pupa and adult. Morphologically, the larval stage does not resemble the adult stage. Here's a summary of each of these steps:

Beetle Eggs

Eggs are produced by female beetles and placed in large quantities or individually. Within a few days the eggs will hatch and the young beetle is born. In some cases female beetles do not provide care for young beetles and they are left to fend for themselves. The beetle eggs are generally placed near or at a suitable larvae food source.

Larva Beetle

After hatching from the larvae eggs shaped like a worm will start to eat. As the larvae grow large, it passes through several stages or instars. Each instar will end up with larval molting to accommodate its growth. Depending on the species, the number of molts can range from at least 3 or more. The body of beetle larvae has different forms. The most common are C-shaped, wirewormlike, caterpillarlike and campodeiform.

Pupa beetle

After reaching the final instar, the larvae turn into pupa stage. This stage serves as a transition stage where the larvae mature. Pupa usually has a pale color.

Adult Beetle

The final stage of development is achieved when molt pupa. Newly emerging mature beetles are teneral - soft exoskeleton with pale color. It usually takes a few hours before the body harden and adult colors are present.
