BECOMING LIKE HIM

The company you keep influences your life . you gradually take the form, character, traits, likes, dislikes, habit and nature of those you associate with . This could have a negative or positive impact on your life. if you are close associate of a thief, no matter how much you hate stealing, sooner or later you will start making excuses for the thief or even join the fellow to steal. little wonder 1st corintians 15 :33 syas be not decived:evil communication corrupt good manners Do you know that, just as it is easier for someone downhill to pull down somebody from the uphill so it is easier for someone with loose morals to negatively affect someone with good morals? This is why you must keep unsaved friends at some distance to enable you reach out to them , but safe enough to keep you from falling prey to the sins that have enslaved them. This year, you need or so to say you must separate from anything that can severe your relationship with christ.

On the positve side however, you can become more like jesus if only you can find some time to be with him. Yes , you can become like the Lord through association by fellowship with him. 2Corintians 3:18 says But we all ,with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord. i will enjoy you to stay in his presence,make sure you attend regular mettings with God and his people. When you are at home , find time to be in His presence with your family, feasting on his Word, praising and worsrhipping Him. Do everything you can to increase the number of times you come into his presence and you will see yourself taking on His nature (Lord jesus) This will make situation ,circumstances, friends and foes to respond positively to you . some people cannot even read a chapter of a BIble for a day , they are only robbing themselves of His g lory. Do you know that if you read 10 chapters a day, you can finish the whole bible in one month? You should read and meditate several chapters each day and meditate on some of the passages and you will gradually become like Him (Lord Jesus).
