Clicked #65: The Mirror Lake Part 2 !!!

This post is in continuation with my previous post The Mirror Lake Part 1 !!!
While we were inhaling the peaceful breath at this place of illusion, few tourists came who undoubtedly got awe struck with every unbelievable detail of the nature.
There was this person with them who was guiding them along the trip. His name was Anuj and he was from the nearby village named Batal.
He told us very interesting story about the place and the story goes like this......
Centuries back when Moon Lake and Sun Lake were people, they were in love with each other.
They fall in love with each other at first sight at Baralacha Pass.
But there family didn’t approved their relationship and they were forced to live separately.
They both were not able to handle the separation and they planned to give up their human lives and stay together in the form of these lakes.
And till now they stay here together and forever.
Sun lake is about 30 Kilometers trek from Moon lake.
These both laked are totally a feast to our eyes.
I wish that we could have stayed at the lake, camping and star gazing whole night, but I guess it was our hard luck that we got late to reach the place and frankly speaking, road to Chandartaal Lake is not meant for driving at the night.
So we didn’t take the risk and rested at Batal for the night.
The Sun Lake was not the part of our trip but I am definitely going to add it to my next trip and I will definitely camp near the lake that night.

Currently facing fund crunch lol, may be I will plan a trip in November or October and In December, I will definitely plan because of snow :D

Beautiful mountains, lake, very scenic. I liked very much reflection that I see in lake. it is truly mirror lake. Wonderful photography.
