Tambo is an ancient Aceh traditional music instrument Tambo made of iboh stem / cow leather / and rattan as a tool stretch the skin.
The shape of a kind of drum and played by beating. In the early days, tambo served as a means of communication to signify the arrival of prayer times and to gather citizens to the meunasah to discuss the problems that exist in a village. Currently, tambo is rarely used because of the current technology whose name is a microfon.
