Grasshopper jumping and flying.
@barrysteem
Grasshoppers are herbivorous insects in the wild. This insect has an antenna that is almost always shorter than its body and also has a short ovipositor attached to it. The sound produced by some grasshopper species is usually produced by rubbing the back spine against the front wing or stomach, or by flapping the wings while flying. The back is generally long and strong which is suitable for jumping or flying.
These insects are generally winged, though their wings are not available to fly.
This is my submission tonight. About the grasshopper.
