Pass the budget in BD without big changes

The proposed budget for the 2018-19 fiscal year is being passed today without any major changes. This budget will be effective from 1st July.

Thursday (June 28th) at 10 am in the speaker said. The session started in the chairmanship of Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury. Prime Minister and parliament leader Sheikh Hasina, opposition leader Rowshan Ershad, finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and other ministers and MPs are present in the parliament.

In the beginning of the session, the Speaker urged the ministries and departments to submit their demands in parliament. Later, the relevant department ministers submitted the demands in phases. They are passed unanimously.
On June 7, budget proposal of 4 lakh 64 thousand 573 crore for the next fiscal year was proposed in the parliament. Although there is no major change in the budget, the reduction of tax on internet has been proposed, increase in customs duty on mobile production and addition of VAT, exemption of mobile and computer accessories at local level.
