KEPOMPONG
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Selamat malam steemian dimanapun berada, pada kesempatan ini saya akan memposting tentang kepompong. Kepompong perubahan dari ulat dimana ia tidak lagi makan, akan tetapi sudah terbungkus cangkang yang ia akan berpuasa tidak bergerak untuk bisa berubah menjadi kupu-kupu.
Di dalam pupa atau kepompong ini, ulat lalu akan memulai proses yang menakjubkan untuk berubah menjadi kupu-kupu dewasa. Tahap ini biasanya akan berlangsung selama 12 hari.
Meskipun awalnya kepompong yang baru jadi itu lunak, dalam waktu satu jam kepompong tersebut berangsur-angsur mengeras membentuk cangkang pelindung. Di dalam kepompong, ulat tersebut perlahan-lahan berubah menjadi kupu-kupu.
Kepompong yang saya foto diatas melekat dengan sangat lengket. Ini salah satu proses metamorfosis yang sangat menakjubkan.
