Not Hopeless
Not Hopeless
Steemian friends, excerpts from the following story is an example of the attitudes and principles of the lives of some people may be inspiration and motivation for us. Here is a fragment of their story;
Once, the Prophet Moses was on his way to munajat on the hill of Sina, because it was late at night on the road. He intends to stay in the nearest village. There is the brightest house in the village, and the Prophet Moses stopped by for permission to stay. It turns out the owner of the house is a pimp. He also invited Moses to stay.
The pimp said,
"O Prophet, I feel so much sin... When I am young I sell myself, now sell someone else Please ask God, where will I go to hell?"
Excuses from the house of the pimp, Moses met a woman who was stumped his hands and feet in the market. The woman became a beggar and patient for the ordeal. He enters the question to Moses,
"O Prophet, I am given such trials and patience to receive fate. Will it go to heaven?".
From the market, on the street meet an old fart that walks with a stick. The oldman also asked Moses.
"Moses...I come from a distant village, It's been 12 years since there was no rain in my village Please ask God when will rain rain in my village?"
The Prophet Moses conveyed all their questions to God on Sina hill. It turns out that God gave an astonishing answer;
- The pimp is rumored to be going to heaven.
- The beggar stumps his hands and feet will go to hell.
- While the old man, asked to be patient for 12 years.
Rushing the Prophet Moses back, first the Prophet gave news to the old man . Hearing an explanation from the Prophet Moses, he actually prostrate while crying. And if we look at his age, he will not live when the rain is down 12 years later.
"Thank you, dear Allah...
"My request has been granted." Said the old man in tears.
Suddenly the sky became dark, overcast over Egypt. The rain was down with the swift. The old man also asked,
"O Moses...
It's been raining for 12 years. It's down now?".
Prophet Moses replied,
"Because you are not despaired of God's grace, you are instantly given cash, not credit." Answer Moses.
Next, Moses met the beggar. From afar the beggar had spoken arrogantly;
"How is Moses? I go to heaven which one?".
"Mom, I am sorry...
When I ask your questions, God is busy putting a dozen camels into a pinhole." The Prophet Moses did not have the heart to preach about hell for her.
"It is impossible...
It is obviously impossible. The camel's tail can not enter the pinhole." snapped the stump.
"But Allah is All-Powerful, Mother" said Moses.
"Although Allah is all-inclusive, I still can not believe it can happen" she said, pointing at Moses prophet.
Meanwhile, when the Prophet Moses told the pimp that she would be given the heavens, she immediately burst into tears and cried as loudly as she could. She begs forgiveness of Allah, how can it go to heaven. Not to mention the Prophet Moses said goodbye, the pimp died.
God tells Moses, the pimp is forgiven all her sins because she feels guilty and begs forgiveness, and in life she still has faith. While the beggar though patient, but **have no faith and be arrogant **. That's what makes her go to hell.
Holy God Almighty...
Let us keep faith. Do not ever think of God's grace away even though we may not be in the way right now.
