I personally feel it is always better to write in English, the international "Link Language". However, as a Sri Lankan Malay who speaks a corrupted Malay dialect, I reckon the language used is some form of Malay spoken in one of the Malay speaking countries of South East Asia, interestingly we Sri Lankan Malays use some of these words but pronounced differently:
Buah = Fruit
Lada = Pepper
Dunia = World
Lebar = Width
Dalam = Depth
