The sunset or the swastamita is the time when the sun disappears below the horizon line to the west. The red color in the sky at sunset and rising is caused by a combination of blue Rayleigh spreading and density of Earth's atmosphere.

why the Sunset Red?

the beauty of the look when Sunrise and Sunset often be object vision our eyes, the color of the Sun Red be looks beautiful and add a natural charm in the region. regardless of the beauty of a given the Sun at the time of rising and setting, you know why the Sun Red at the time?

when the Sunrise and Sunset it skies most will colored Red, Sky Blue, and light Sky polarized (at least in part). this phenomenon can be described on the basis of scattering light by molecular the atmosphere. scattering light by the Earth's atmosphere depend to the wavelength. for particles a much smaller than the wavelength of light (such as air molecules), particle-pertikel is not a hurdle great for the wavelength of a long as compared to the short. scattering decreases, Red light and Orange dissipated less of the Blue and purple, which is the cause of the Sky Blue.

At sunset, on the other hand, the beam of sunlight passes through the maximum atmospheric length. Many of the blue colors have been removed by scattering. The light reaching the surface of the earth means blue flaws, which is the reason for the reddish sunsets.

The sky is blue only during the day. There are several reasons why the sky was blue. The earth is covered with a layer of air called the atmosphere. Although not visible, the air actually consists of small particles. The light from the sun is dissipated by the tiny particles in the atmosphere. But we know, the light from the sun consists of alloys of all colors, from red, yellow, green, blue, to purple. The colors have different frequencies. Red has a frequency smaller than yellow, yellow is smaller than green, green is smaller than blue, blue is smaller than purple.

The greater the frequency of light, the stronger the light is dissipated. The color of the sky is a portion of the sun's scattered light. Because the most widely dissipated are high-frequency colors (green, blue, and purple), then the sky has a mixture of colors that, when combined into a bright blue. Because the blue color is scattered so much, the color of the sun is not perfectly white, as it should be when all colors are combined. The color of the sun becomes slightly orange.

In the afternoon, often the sun turns red. At that moment, the sunlight is already tilted longer distances to reach our eyes, so that more light is dissipated. So that much left is low frequency light, that is red.

On the moon and on a planet with no atmosphere, sunlight is not scattered, so the sky is always black, even in the daytime. Tyndall effects can also explain why the sky during the day is blue, while when the sun sets in the west horizon is orange or red. This is because the scattering of sunlight by colloidal particles in space, and not all the frequency of sunlight dissipated with the same intensity. Since the intensity of the light is directly proportional to the frequency, then when the sun passes over us, it is the most high frequency that reaches our eyes, so we see the blue sky.

When the sun is almost set, the low-frequency scattering of light is more up to us, so we see the sky is orange or red. We remember the strands of visible light in the spectrum of light, red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple. From the red to purple sequence, the frequency is higher. So colors that close to red have high light frequencies, and colors that close to purple have low light frequency.
