This tree is mainly grown because the fruit is directly eaten fresh or processed as pastries. The fruit must be eaten in a few hours after the fruit is opened, because the smell is very fragrant and quickly reduced and the color
can also change because it is oxidized. Fruit seeds can also be eaten directly after baked or boiled with salt.
This can grow in areas near the coast until its height reaches about 1000 m. This tree also enjoys the sandy clay and its territory with a fairly high rainfall and evenly distributed. This is usually found at the beginning of the rainy season, between August to January depending on the location.
