A Beach For The Family
In the video, I called it “Braodstairs”
but this specific beach is known as Kingsgate Bay.
It is a family friendly (including free-running dogs), sandy beach with clean water in Kingsgate, St. Peter’s Parish, Broadstairs, Kent. It (Kingsgate) was apparently so named due to the fact that King Charles II once landed there back in 1683. Ref
It’s specific location is on the coast between Margate and Ramsgate on the Isle of Thanet, Kent.
The fact that it is a sandy beach is one of it’s attractions. Another is the clean water. Both these attributes are not as common as they should be in England.
The white cliffs on the north side of the bay also add to the allure of the place - creating a stunning sea scape.
Occasionally, ships, boats and yachts sail by, appearing either along the horizon, or from behind the cliffs. White yachts make for awesome photography.
If the sun is in the right place, and visibility is good, there is a wind farm that can been seen in the distance.
As mentioned before, it is a family friendly beach. It is one of the few beaches where dogs are allowed off the leash. The water, apart from being clean and clear, is also quite shallow. This means it is safe for children with adult supervision. It also means the tide line changes very quickly.
By the way, did you know that sand and stone are the same thing? Sand is just finer grain stone. Hence "Sand Stone". So a sandy beach is really a stoney beach, and a stoney beach is a sandy beach to giants :)

Hahaha. As much as I'd love to, I couldn't. I'd probably come back home more depressed. Zanzibar is a lovers paradise, not a place for singles to chill out :D

Who does not like to see the natural scene. Everyone wants to visit the beautiful places of the world. We have become mechanical to see ourselves the buildings of the brick-cement-stone buildings around us. Difficulty in nesting the house. So maybe our mechanical city, where there is a lot of opportunities, as well as our sightseeing. Because we are naturally comfortable. Now we do not go to enjoy the wonderful landscapes at any place of trouble, where we have to face many problems. And that is why we go beyond our sights, some of the wonderful places in the world.
