3 Simple Pleasures Of London Life
I am thankful for many things in life,
including living in this city. Here are 3 simple things I am so grateful for, that make living in London amazing.
Tower Bridge, River Thames, London

(1)Film Photography
Photography in general, yes, but analogue photography in particular.
Apart from being an extremely picturesque city, London, there’s also a lot of choice when it comes to buying film and cameras, and finding resources to process the stuff afterwards. Compared to other cities and towns, London still has many places to process film thanks to our old-timers, enthusiasts and vibrant hipster population. 🧐
(2) Coffee Shops / Work Spaces
I feel like anywhere in London, I’m only a 5-10 minute walk away from an awesome café, most of which make quite brilliant workspaces.
What I think makes a good workspace is, apart from quality brews of course, is the attitude of the staff. I very rarely come across staff that aren’t laptop friendly here.
Some parts of the city - like urban east London, or the trendy parts of the west, are packed with artisan coffee shops. ☕️
(3) Urban Wildlife
Some cities are dead and devoid of wildlife. London has an almost unique ecosystem of wildlife that appears to co-exist with the humans.
It delights the tourists in this city when they come across a friendly squirrel or a bird that lands right in front of them while dinning out.
In my neighbourhood, we get foxes too. They can often be seen walking around in broad daylight.
Personally I enjoy them as they make fantastic photography subjects. Our squirrels are friendly enough to get such closeups without a telephoto lens. 🦆
Peace and Love ✌🏿
