eSteem feedback - error
For me it is just not possible to use eSteem properly. Almost everything I do, whether be it an upvote, comment or new post I receive this notice:
If you need me to test something specific just let me know.

@good-karma explained this solution: Either use your main password
or if you like to login with your posting private key and active private key you should enable Advanced mode on the login page.
-make sure to not make any typos by for example using the QR-code.

Hi @s3rg3! It looks like your credentials are incorrect.
Could you logout and login back and be careful on typos for your password?
If you login back with correct password, issue should resolve itself. Let me know if it works. Upcoming version will have proper password checking :)
Thanks for the tip but even after deleted and reinstalled the app, signed in with my active posting key. I still receive the same error. I use an iPhone 6 if that helps.
You can either use your main password or follow this post to login with
postingprivate key andactiveprivate key. When you logging in with posting and active key you should enable Advanced mode on Login page and do QR scanning which won't make typos ;)O man you are a lifesaver! Posting this from eSteem. Got it all working again due to the fact that I simply overlooked the advanced feature which you had pointed me at.
I logged in with the prescribed key but I still get that error on android 7
If you still get same error mostly likely there is typos in password. Please check or use QR scanning via Advanced login option, because current version of eSteem has small bug that is not checking passwords correctly, literally allowing you to login with any password, but of course no action can be performed... Proper password check fix is already implemented and coming with new release.
I sometimes think the problems facing esteem customers is regional or it targets just a group. I installed esteem for a friend and he hasnt been able to make just even one post succesfully but i aways use the app. Whats really wrong

I am having the same problem @good-karma. I tried reinstalling the app and using the QRs for advanced login but it never logs in, just looks like it's trying to. I know the key are right because I used the QRs, any thoughts? Please help!
Are you on Android or iOS version?
Have you entered your username without
@sign, I saw some users typed their username with@sign which caused issue as well?Thanks for responding @good-karma! Android user....When I tried it without the @ symbol it said 'incorrect username/password' so tried again with @symbol. It then looks like it's trying to login but never does, just sits on login screen with little 'busy' looking icon in the middle. I am using the QRs for advanced login
Please try, only
liberty-mindedas username and in Advanced login, make sure to scan private key QR image not public one. Let me know if that workstried and got 'error:account or password incorrect'
this is what it was freezing on with the @ symbol
Hmm that doesn't look like QR code or private key. Because it should be at least 40 characters... Maybe try to manually type your private keys... but weird though

That did it @good-karma, thanks! Now I can finally actually interact on the app instead of just browsing. Guess the problem was with my QR reader somehow.

Posting Key and Active Key Login attempt failed too. It´s loading but nothing happens. Both on Ios and Android :(
