Wow! That really sounds fascinating! Actually I came across Scientology while I was doing a wee bit of background research for this. A guy called Sylvan Muldoon popularised astral projection in the 1920s, and apparently L Ron Hubbard pinched his ideas.
It... well relieved me of some cash.. but other than that I can say I escaped.
Looking forward to reading all about it!
