As someone who practices Magick, I appreciate your scientific approach to this subject!
Bypassing the conscious mind in order to communicate with the subconscious mind can indeed be tricky.
I use visualization and symbolism as well as build up strong emotions and energy in order to do this.

I'm definitely more of a magickian than a scientist myself but I thought giving a little scientific perspective on it might help some people get into it a little better. Seems to be working too.
