Folks, can someone please clarify me this?

Say I register my erc20-based-eos tokens today on the eos.io website. Then I sell my erc20-based-eos tokens to someone else or transfer to another ether address. Then again register with eos.io site with the new erc20 address holding those tokens. (I am talking about doing all this outside of any exchanges using my own wallet on mew or ledger). Which means, the same coins have been registered twice on the eos.io website. So at the time of eos-proper-token distribution, how do they decide who to give the proper-eos tokens to?
