Whats is EOS?

EOS is a blockchain platform for the development of decentralized application similar to Ethereum. So EOS uses smart contracts has well and use POS(Proof of Stake) but the different between EOS and Ethereum is that EOS has interesting performance and scalability benefits ,which we know Ethereum has issue with scalability and actually the technical designer behind steem ,Dan Larimer is helping develop EOS and everybody in Steemit surely loves this platform and the community its provides so maybe in the future date we could have a EOS platform similar with Steemit or maybe interact together in the near future.

What is proof of stake

Proof of state is the concept that a person can mine transaction according to how many coin they hold, meaning that the more of the coin the owner holds the more mining power that person has.
