Is EOS The Heir To The Throne?

I moved more of my portfolio into EOS.
I've done a lot of thinking on this.
To me Dan has proven his ability to scale blockchains to an amazing level of transactions.
Add the fact that ETH is at 100% capacity.
People continue to use ETH because they believe Vitalik will come with a great scaling solution.
That is yet to be seen.

So the question becomes. Do the masses choose what they know and trust or will they adopt a new tech in EOS.
Many people use the beta max and vhs case study.
VHS beat out beta max which was a better tech. This essential happened because of some marketing magic and things outside the technology. (Another story. Look it up, it's interesting)
They use this to demonstrate that ETH has first mover advantage and adoption with the crowd.
EOS will have a tough time even if it is better tech. (Which Vitalek will argue)

Here is why I moved funds to EOS. Opportunity.
I think the crypto space is unique because we have such a well educated community.
We are quick to move and follow the best tech more than other markets.
We wouldn't follow VHS just because it was first into the pornographic movie market. We would follow betamax because it had a brighter future use case.

In moving my funds to EOS, I'm betting on Dan and I'm betting on a well educated community.
