Steem is great for people that can't afford to mine or don't have the technical skills. We can accumulate some without having to spend a lot of money and without having to work out how to use mining software. I've spent far too much time working out how to mine various coins, only to find that my hardware isn't up to the task and the electricity costs too much. Its great to be able to accumulate some Steem. Now we have Steem Monsters, its fun too.
