Have you Registered your EOS Tokens?
With the looming transition to the EOS mainnet, it is imperative that EOS token holders register their Ethereum addresses to an EOS address to ensure that they receive EOS coins when the mainnet launches. The current ERC-20 EOS tokens will be frozen and not able to be traded or exchanged. Registered Ethereum addresses will then receive EOS coins in place of the ERC-20 EOS tokens at a 1:1 ratio.
The scary thing is that there are many people out there that do not know how to do this. Thankfully, most of the big exchanges have committed to exchanging the current EOS tokens for the EOS coins once the mainnet launches.

If you have EOS tokens, take a moment to read through it and get those tokens registered. I have been using Exodus and the registration process through the wallet is excellent and easy.

Thanks for this information. I tried during the early days to get the tokens to no avail. I wish you could provide guidance on that.
Is this for free? Or we need to purchase first?
The software is free but you will a little bit if etheruem in the wallet as gas to pay for the smart contract update. That is an Ethereum requirement not EOS as EOS will be fee less ;-).
To verify all is good, you can go to https://eosauthority.com/account which will not only show you are new EOS address but your account name & your humanly readable address, double win.
