Buying EOS during crowdsale
I'm finding it quite challenging to purchase more EOS using the crowdsale, I managed to buy some at launch and was able to claim the tokens succesffully, every now and then I make it through to the distribution page but then I'm either stuck where none of the buttons work or when they do work it doesn't actually communicate with Metamask, I've looked up on the social media pages for EOS, What you'd normally expect with issues like this is various blog posts describing what the issue is and how to resolve it (if there is even a way), unfortunately I'm coming up with nothing.
So either it's just me experiencing this or I'm going to be one of the first to bring this issue to everyones attention, so which is it? I turn to you Steemians for guidance, no need to upvote this post, all I'm looking for is to know that I'm not a alone.
Same boat - buttons don't work or it hangs. Very frustrating..
i agree, personally i am waiting and let things settle before i jump in. I attempted many times with metamask and it had problems connecting to ethereum network on 3 different computers.
OK thanks, I've even tried connecting over a VPN and nothing, wonder if it's MetaMask though, perhaps we should try Mist or Ethereum Wallet? Obviously would be great to pick some up at the crowdsale prices as they always cheaper than the exchanges
@everyone we are experiencing a high volume of requests to the token distribution interface on the website right now, which is overloading the metamask node. Looking to resolve the issue shortly.
