You're absolutely right, I totally forgot minimum contribution. Except one thing, it's actually
0.01ETH as seen on line 508Indeed I was an order of magnitude off.
On the instructions page at https://eos.io/instructions they mention the 0.01 minimum right under the heading 'How To Participate'
