If u have tried Bitshares & Steem and like them, u will love EOS because the platform will take this 2 in another level 100X faster. Imagine being able to build a NASDAQ or FACEBOOK that will offer u free transactions were ever u are on the world. If it's to technical to understand, I agree, just close your eyes and buy some EOS when it,s release. Make sure u sign-up for the mailing list http://eos.io/
What I don't understand is what is the main mechanism for revenue with EOS? If there are no transaction fees, how does it make money? Could someone explain and sorry because I havent researched it super in depth yet so might be a dumb question
