Status' ICO also didn't allow contributors from the US and that didnt stop anyone.
All you need is the address. Blockchains are borderless so they cant block contributions from certain countries.
If you want to lose all ur money go ahead and knock yourself out. Im not going to buy eos, there are lot of other coins why buy that?
