RE: Does anyone know how to sell/trade EOS from a My Ether Wallet address?

in #eos6 years ago (edited)

Well I think it's more complicated - the question is: do you have EOS or ERC20 EOS? In the latter case what you have is not EOS but IOU for EOS - that's what those ERC20 tokens sitting in your ETH wallet are. At the moment they are not transferable - its dead coin for all practical purposes. When EOS mainnet was launched those IOU's were converted into real EOS and I got brand new EOS mainnet account with corresponding amount of EOS in it - at the same time those IOU's on ETH were blocked - so at present you can't transfer them anywhere. Try this: https://www.coininsider.com/what-to-do-if-you-missed-eos-token-registration/ or look for other solutions.

From the other hand if you actually registered your ERC20 EOS IOU's then you should have EOS account and own private keys. If that's the case then use Scatter and EOStoolkit as explained earlier.

All info seems to be here: https://eosauthority.com/genesis
