Pairing altcoins with bitcoin is a mess, all this alt-roller coaster could be prevented if tether as a project wasn't so sketchy. At least there's now a new Tether like project in the works TUSD (True USD) supported by bittrex and other major exchanges, this could bring a turn around in price making with alt coins.
Pairing Crypto with USD/EUR is out of the question, its too vulnerable, i rather have all digital assets like TUSD or Tether and alt coins.
Yeah I saw TrueUSD on Bittrex lol its a more decentralized stable coin and it will probably grow but no one will trust something new like that unless its been battle tested like tether
tether is not to blame though, tether if anything is helping bitcoin because it allows for people to tether up and ttrade soooo easily
Tether has nothing to do with Bitcoin price, Bitcoin is a 150 Billion to 200 billion dollar maeketcap blockcjainand tether is like 2 billion, its nothing compared to bitcoin, steem has been around 2 billion gbefroe too! And steem isn't seen as something that could tear down al of crypto like they say about tether,thats just FUD :D
I know that steem and SBD will provide some alternatuive to USDT tether s well as True USD
also we will see some reason and logic appied to the reasons Bitcoinand crypto is low... People are just her animals and the price of Steem WOULD be $20 right now if BITCOIn wasn't low
Once people just start buyig up more BTC it will pick up momentu, limiet duspply = high BTC price in the future

there are only so many bitcoins and deand WILl keep increasing forever no way around it!
You cannot stop the demand for BTC especially now that fees are 6 cents so don't worry
Tether will not be an issue, people wil be buying up Bitcoin until theres no more left and they will have to start collecting ALTCOINS instead and STEEM will be the BEST option after EOS for people to collect!
