EOS: Calibrate your FUD radar
As we move closer to the EOS mainnet launch, the pressure and tension thickens. Those invested in the project want a successful launch--to the moon even. An instinctive tendency is to behave as a tribe, and launch an offensive against anything that isn't overly positive. The tool often used is the word "FUD." This is haphazard behavior.
If someone experiences an issue, falls victim to a scam, discovers a bug, etc., this is NOT FUD. The way to handle such concerns is by providing excellent community support around the matter, not by being disparagingly cocksure. This is a technology launch. Thing can go wrong. Things will go wrong. The best way to proceed is by gracefully handling problems, not by sporting rose-tinted glasses.
I am watching too many EOS community members fail:
In the following reddit thread, we see the victim helpless until block.one officially announced that their email support systems were compromised:

We need to be on high alert for issues, and ready to handle them productively, not turn a blind eye. Having said that, let's have an awesome launch.
