EOS, the new blockchain that will allow us to build steemit like applications

in #eos7 years ago

Hello,

It seems like EOS is going to allow anyone to create huge applications with low value transactions on the blockchain.
You will only need to hold EOS tokens in your wallet to send transactions into the blockchain without paying any fees. Those tokens will be locked depending on how many ressources you will use and can be released if you delete the data from the blockchain.

A word from Dan :

Daniel Larimer, [30 May 2017, 20:40]:
it is locked up when your DAPP stores data, but is released when your DAPP deletes data
EOS is designed to build DAPPs like steem

This will enable us to build heavy load applications like steemit with millions of daily transactions that are going to be "free" on the network. Of course you will need to hold EOS tokens to store more and more information but those tokens will never be lost or consumed like it's the case with Ethereum.

I believe we could see soon the next instagram or facebook on the EOS blockchain. We might see applications that will pay users to view content or pay authors if their content is viewed by users.

With my team we are working at this precise moment to build an application for EOS, any idea of app is welcome as we haven't yet decided what to build exactly. We will build the best idea that the community wants to see online.

As we want to be very involded in this new project because we believe it will be a game changer we will also be running a witness on the EOS network once it's ready.

EOS seems to be clearly on a different level than the other blockchains.

I still need review the EOS code but it sounds like it's going to be the next great innovation for blockchain apps.

Wow, eos seems amazing!
