The first hybrid airdrop is coming, and here’s what you need to know about it!
So, what is it? The GOLD.IO lockdrop (hybrid airdrop) will help to introduce the benefits of GOLD.IO to the EOS community.
According to their Medium post HERE
In this seed round, 170072 EOS accounts will receive tokens according to the snapshot of Dec. 26, 2018 (you can download it here) in the proportion of 3 GOLD.IO (GIO) tokens for 1 EOS.
The following EOS accounts are excluded from the airdrop:
• Accounts holding less or equal to 10 EOS;
• b1;
• eosio.stake;
• eosio.names;
• eosio.bpay;
• eosio.ram;
• eosio.ramfee;
• eosio.regram;
• eosio.unregd.
Tokens you will see in your wallets will be called FGIO (“frozen GIO”) and will be locked or “frozen.” Holders then can decide whether they want to keep it or not, and if they choose to unlock them, they will have to pay a small fee of 3.236% to claim them starting from Feb. 13, 2019. Claimed tokens will be converted to GIO automatically, and unclaimed tokens will be burnt at the rate of 0.21% a day contributing to the assets scarcity and adding value for the existing GIO holders.
We believe that it will help us to build a more motivated and engaged community of people who share the same ideas, and a good proportion of the fees will be redistributed back to the GOLD.IO Community to meet their needs (you can read more about it in our Goldpaper).
