Bitfinex launches a Beta version DEX on EOS - EOSFinex

EOSFinex will initially list three major pairs all tied to USDT, BTC/USDT, EOS/USDT, ETH/USDT.
This may quickly expand however as its stated that:
“the exchange contract is flexible and allows for the trading of any token created by a specific trusted contract. Furthermore, adding a new pair is trivial and can be done by anyone after the trusted contract issues a new trade-able token.”
According to J.L.Van Der Velde, the chief executive officer of Bitfinex:
“We are excited to leverage EOS.io to further advance the field of high performance and trustless on-chain exchange. Block.one continues to display an unwavering dedication to improving blockchain scalability through the EOS.IO platform and it is our hope that this collaboration will allow significant advancement for all decentralized exchange.”
I'm not the biggest fan of Bitfinex, however a high volume DEX is desperately needed and Bitshares just doesn't cut it. No more government overreach or KYC.
