i'm fairly new to steemit and looking to power up a few days from now. i dont blog, just comment and like post. but why do i purchase steem? 1. it's cheap right now. 2.) it's speculative, but i think it will increase in value fundamental wise due to the reasons you stated.

technical analysis wise, it's forming a beautiful cup and handle. I want more (valuable) steem coins for free, so why not power up and earn some coins.
