Google cashing in on Telegram ICO scam !?

Following on from my previous post "Has the media been played"

It looks to me like Google is also playing its part to add to the confusion, running ads for what is quite possibly a fake ICO involving the rumored Telegram Open Network ICO that is being spread by mainstream and crypto specific media sites across the internet.

Finance Magnets, a financial news and research website has since posted a headline breaking story claiming Telegram has made an official
announcement over fake Telegram ICO sites.

Yes SCAM!!
Look at the source of the web page, look the code that controls the counter:

$("#count").html(Math.round(
       parseInt(Date.now().toString().substr(6,12))/2)
);
setTimeout(test,3000);

Every 3 seconds the counter of the collected ether is growing using a math formula!!

Unfortunately there are already people who have fallen ... 3.6 ether so far.

It will be interesting to see how the media sites played into giving credibility to the scam(s) will react.
