The First High Performance Decentralized Exchange on EOS Platform

Today Bitfinex announced a new exciting venture. 'EOSFinex' will be the first high performance decentralized exchange to be built on EOS.IO technology. This new 'on-chain' exchange will offer fast, transparent and trustless trading of digital assets. Recently Bitfinex has come under scrutiny throughout the crypt-community, after US regulators issued a subpoena to Bitfinex exchange and the Tether token following skepticism of fraud. Bitfinex wants to leverage EOS's ability to process tens of thousands of transactions per second.

Overall this sounds like a promising venture for both Bitfinex and their customers. EOS is going to be a game-changer in the crypto-sphere and it's great to see major players such as Bitfinex hopping aboard the technology. The decentralized nature of the platform will provide much-needed transparency.
