Bitcoin is an idea/project from 2009. Isn't that enough time to gain market share?

Now, seriously, in this new world, you need more tools to build a new virtual economy, things that you haven't right now, like Steem before D.tube, you need people using these new techs to bring new uses for the blockchain. It's a process, but hey, they've discovered fire, we need to build a modern oven now.
