HelloMedia is a Chinese language media platform under HelloEOS which is an EOS block producer. Devoting to become a media deep in serving the EOS ecosystem participants, we will continue to interview those outstanding teams in EOS ecosystem, including BPs, DApp developers, investors, eco-platforms and media. Also, we provide a multimedia platform for those excellent EOS eco builders who contribute to the developing the EOS ecosystem to showcase themselves.

HelloEOS: Why are you optimistic about EOS? Like why are you intend to be an BP from the beginning?

EOS Cafe: There are many factors about EOS that interested us; one of the biggest factors being scalability. When comparing EOS to other blockchain networks, it seems like an obvious choice to choose EOS as the network to be on. We saw a lot of potential, and wanted to be a part of the initial movement to build and grow EOS.

HelloEOS: Could you elaborate on the meaning of these Numbers on your website?
Which number are you most proud of? Why?

EOS Cafe: 6 Global Meetups - We've hosted 6 Meetups so far in Canada, Korea and even China to engage the community and connect anyone and everyone interested in blockchain and EOS. We're hoping to continue increasing this number, and would love to organize another Meetup in China in the near future.

5000 Discord Members - We have a growing community on Discord; for many, this is where their involvement with EOS Cafe really started. Our community is now on multiple different outlets such as Telegram and Kakao, and we'd love to watch the number grow!

3 dApps Supported - KARMA, UNICO, and SFEOS are dApps that EOS Cafe Calgary has supported up to date, whether that support is by providing resources and/or advisory. We are always looking to support more dApps in the EOS ecosystem; please reach out to us if you'd like to collaborate!

3 Tools Created - By being deeply involved in the community, we were able to identify and address the needs of the community by creating the following three tools; the Key Generation Tool, a Paper Wallet, and bloks.io, which is a Block Explorer. Please refer to the Contribution section for a detailed explanation on the tools.

We see immense value in all of the numbers listed, but we take great pride in being able to develop and deliver tools that the community values and utilizes in their regular, perhaps even daily, activities on EOS. We also hope these tools can be attributed to creating an easier and positive experience on EOS.

HelloEOS: We would like to know your first impression to the group of Chinese BPs. And what do you think about the Chinese BPs？

EOS Cafe: We love the representation of the East by the Chinese BPs for an overall balanced ecosystem in EOS. It's great to see such a global wide community involvement from all over the world, and we are excited to see that many of the Chinese BPs are working towards bettering the EOS ecosystem by contributing via building tools, investing in dApps, and connecting the local community with others around the world. We know that there may be a bit of communication barrier but hope to overcome this through our common interest in making EOS propser.

The group of Chinese BPs is almost an unknown territory to us; we see the opportunity here to branch out and connect with other BPs as we see the potential for a mutually beneficial relationship by working together.

HelloEOS: What do you think about the mass increase of the supply of RAM?

EOS Cafe: The mass increase of the supply of RAM may have surprised the market short term, but we believe that overall this was the ideal decision to support developers on EOS. Lower cost for developing on EOS means hopefully more dApps on EOS, which in turn should result in an increase in the value of EOS. dApps are the backbone of the EOS economy and we want to continue fostering them to increase the value of EOS for both the community and token holders alike.

HelloEOS: Do you have any plan in terms of developing and incubating Dapps?

EOS Cafe: Currently we already advise many dApps including KARMA, UNICO, and SFEOS on the EOS platform. We will continue to grow our ecosystem of dApps we support and advise, and look forward to collaborating with Chinese dApps to create an industry leading dApp that can have a global reach to build a worldwide user base.

HelloEOS: Will you talk about your plan in the next phase?

EOS Cafe: We have a few plans on the way at the moment; one of our big plans that many associate our name with and know us for is our plan to build a real world collaboration space aka an actual cafe, where EOS enthusiasts can meetup and build the future upon the exponential operation system. Our vision is to enable the general public to pay in EOS for common goods such as coffee to increase global adoption of EOS.

HelloEOS: If you were asked to recommend a BP to HelloMedia, other than EOS Cafe which one would you like to recommend? Why?

EOS Cafe: There are many amazing BPs in the space that does great work - but if we absolutely had to narrow it down to one BP to recommend, we would choose EOS New York. They have been in the space since the beginning, and continuously add value to the community by providing helpful resources for developers and token holders alike, as well as staying active in multiple topics such as WPS, and the Alliance. They are definitely a top performing BP that we love seeing work from, and would endorse them to anyone looking for a BP recommendation.

HelloEOS: Finally, do you want to say anything to the Chinese community? In other words, could you give us a reason to vote for EOS Cafe?

EOS Cafe: Our goal is to harness the power of EOS to provide education, infrastructure, and decentralized applications to enrich the global EOS ecosystem; in turn, this will create value in EOS. We are, and will continue to work towards our goal by investing back into the ecosystem, fostering dApps, and creating tools to help the community.
