The Goldchain Roadmap

The Goldchain Platform was conceived in May 2018 and has been ramped up for success ever since. During the conceptual creation of the Goldchain Platform, market research into the feasibility of commodity-backed tokens, such as gold-backed tokens, was conducted. Goldchain has also performed a strategic development plan as a guideline for product creation, business partnerships, marketing strategies, and regulatory requirements. During this stage, branding of the TruGold token was developed and an early website was built.

In March 2019, the Goldchain Platform was announced publicly and the start of the first marketing campaign was initiated. During this time, Goldchain began presentations for early investors. In Q2-Q3, Goldchain will launch their first token, TruGold and its corresponding smart contract for provenance transactions, on the EOS blockchain.

In Q3-Q4, most of the major business development for the Goldchain Platform will be conducted. Goldchain plans to launch their Online Marketplace for purchasing TruGold tokenized gold. Goldchain also plans to announce their Vault Partnership for storing the physical gold that backs TruGold tokens. Around this time, physical gold is planned to be redeemable from partner vaults.

The majority of technical development will take place during Q4 of 2019. This technical developmental stage will include the development of an enterprise mobile app for tracking origin of raw materials in the mining supply chain. The mobile app is planned for release at the end of Q4 2019.

By Q3 of 2020, Goldchain plans to have TruGold tradeable on 3rd party exchanges. It is the hopes of Goldchain to have multiple exchange listings by this time, however, this is subject to change.

By Q4 of 2020 and beyond, Goldchain looks to add other metal-backed tokens to the Goldchain Platform. Some of the metals that Goldchain may have tradeable, include, but are not limited to: Silver, Magnesium, Platinum, Nickel, Cobalt, and non-metals such as Silica.
