May I present to you these EOS 3D bling bling earrings in 2 flashy colours? I know, it's not going well with EOS at this moment, but we cannot deny the logo looks awesome!

Just like my previous design, the EOS Clutch, I thought it would be fun to make EOS earrings. This time it is a bit different than what you are used of me(if that is correct English). I used two colours and made 60 holes in total, so 30 holes on each earring.

Tutorial

The very basic steps of the logo you can see in my previous EOS Clutch post.

I made the logo a bit thicker by extruding the logo, now the logo is 7mm thick. Then I made a hole for the ear hanger and made in total 30 circles, each of size 4.25 mm. Why? Because the diamonds I have measured, have a diameter of 4 mm. To make it fit I have to widen it a bit with 0.25mm. I made sure the circles are lined up in a straight line.

Now the circles need a bit depth for the diamonds to fit in. I don't want the diamonds to fit in so deep, I still want them to be visible from the side. So I extruded the circles with only 0.5 mm.

When I 3D design with Fusion, I like things to be equal/symmetric/in line so these circles I made in 1.5 hours. I tried to mirror the 15 circles to the other side, but some how I could not select the mirror button. Otherwise, it would take me 45 minutes.

The earrings I wanted in two colours, so I had to split it in two using Split Body.

My Printrbot Simple Metal 3D printer doesn't work well anymore :-(. So I think I can throw it in the garbage bin. Or maybe I can let it checked and fixed by someone specialised in 3d printers. Luckily my husband has a super 3D printer, the Prusa. So I had to disturb him. He was watching Netflix at that time. I think he was watching The Walking Dead. Printing time was about 3 till 4 hours.

The next morning I glued the parts together.

Attaching the diamonds. which took me, surprisingly 1 hour? I thought I could do it in 10 minutes! I think because I like precision work. 60 diamonds in total.

I really love the earrings and these earrings I can wear with pride :-). I hope you like these earrings and if you have a 3D printer, you can make these too! If you don't have a 3D printer but would like to make these too, you can always send your design from Fusion 360 to a 3D shop that can print for you.

Thank you!

Hey @rocksg thanks! No, i dont work for any company, would be cool to work for a 3D company. I understand, a 3D printer is not a thing one just buy. But there are affordable 3D printers too. My husband built his own printer (s) from a kit, so he saved hundreds of euros. There are printers that cost the same as a samsung/i phone phone. You can try to buy a second hand, or pay in installments, or just let a company print your design, i believe its 3dhubs.com. Fusion 360 is free to use. Hope this will help

All I am gonna say is "I need to get a 3D printer!!!".

Yes! Go get yourself a 3D printer! ;-)

These earrings are really cool and I think the colors are great ! I can understand that it took a long time to put the diamonds 💎 But it was worth the effort ! Awesome Design !

I also make 3d designs but cannot afford 3d printer. You really are doing a great job here. Do you work as a 3D artist for big firms or companies?

@fathin-shihab - hahaha! That is pretty damn cool! They look amazing on you... cant say I would wear them myself as I have never been one for big earings.... they just dont look right on me, but that aside... How they have been made is bloody epic! Love it! 3D for the win! hehehe :) Fascinating times we are living in!!! :)
